AT&T maintains a select list of contractors to perform their construction work. St. Francis Electric has been a member in good standing of that list for 25+ years. Presently, the Company is heavily involved in AT&T's largest undertaking to date, the $2B "Project Lightspeed", working on portions of this job throughout Northern California.

Project   Description
Manhole Access Tunnel Redesign - 880/92 Interchange, East Bay, CA.
Relocated all backbone infrastructure trunk line for the East Bay due to conflicts with the expansion of new on and off ramps including 9 manholes, 50,000 ft of cable. Of special note, this job was done adjacent to a major highway without the need to close lanes or interrupt traffic.
Intercept manholes, Northern CA.
Often AT&T's manholes become overcrowded with cables due to the necessity to serve customers in expanding and developing areas. When a manhole becomes too overcrowded to work in, it must be removed and replaced with a larger one. St. Francis Electric specializes in the building of these facilities using specially designed precast overset and tunnel vaults. Telephone service is never interrupted during construction.
Project "Lightspeed", Northern CA.
St. Francis Electric is participating in the building of AT&T's massive system upgrade. Typically work is performed at 20-40 locations each month. This project is estimated to be complete in 2014.
